Homycare emerged during the pandemic to address a critical need: providing accessible medical services outside overloaded hospitals. The platform bridged the gap between patients and available medical personnel by enabling users to request in-home care directly through the app. It aimed to streamline the matching process based on proximity, specialization, and availability.
This was my first time handling both local-region scaling and developing a virtual account and top-up system. I learned how to coordinate complex service flows with third-party APIs for payment and digital products. I also explored integrating Google Maps for live tracking and building responsive alert mechanisms. It taught me the value of real-time visibility, modular backend design, and cross-functional collaboration under high pressure.
